  • Take advantage of the web to present your topic with things other than text.
  • Be sure to cite any materials used that are not your own. Be aware of potential copyright and plagiarism issues.

Take the topic you have been working on in class and make a website (suggestions: Blogger through Google Docs or EduBlogs through your class account). Make sure you can relate it back to what you have learned in the class. Consider aspects of your topic that you could illustrate on a website using multimedia. Remember that your final portfolio will be created online for the world to see.

Here is an example from a past semester of an outstanding effort: https://1976texasportfolio.weebly.com

Remember that your website should tell a coherent story about your topic and how government can help resolve it and/or what kinds of barriers Texas government, political cultures, and political actors pose to its resolution.

Deadlines: The completed site should be up by the beginning of our final exam period (9 am, December 10, 2019). You must post a link to your site on the class WordPress site by that time.
